ACHIEVEMENTS OF SCHOOL IN EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
SESSION: 2023-24
District Sports Tournament: Our School students participated in Districts Sports tournament held at Solan on 4 th May 2023. Our students clinched the following medals including all events.

Literary Festival: Sacred Heart Convent School, Dharamshala organised a Literary Fest on 4 th May 2023.

Guru Shishya Parampara Classical Music Competition of Vocal and Instrumental Music: This Classical Music Competition was held at ITI Solan on 24 th May 2023, where our school students performed and brought laurels to the school in the following categories.

Overall winner trophy was clinched by DPS out of 22 schools and 250 participants from top notch
schools of the area. Substantial news coverage was accorded with congratulatory calls and
messages from many.
Geeta Ashram Samiti organized declamation and Shloka Ucharan Competition at Geeta Adarsh Vidyalya, Solan on Aug 23,2024.

Our students bagged the Overall Winner Trophy and six other trophies in
above-mentioned categories.
National Level Skating Competition at Gurugram:
National Level skating competition was held on 23 rd August 2023 at Gurugram. Maximum number of students from our school were selected and they participated. our school was honored with a trophy of Maximum Participation in Skating from a single School.
National Level Skating Competition at Dharamshala: Our students came out with flying colors and bagged 31 medals in the All India National Level Skating Competition.

Essay Writing Competition:
On 27th October 2023, a National Level Competition of essay writing under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav” on the topic “Incredible India’’ was held. Bhargavi Verma bagged the First Prize. She was also awarded the Vidya Bhushan Award.
NCC Camp:
Master Rahul was awarded the Best Cadet Award, during the NCC Camps held at Nauni University. 17 of our students were given the participation certificates.
